  • Web Development

    In this in depth course students will learn how to build responsive web pages using programming languages such as HTML, CSS. Students will then move on to the next sequence in this pathway, utilizing what they learned by building a portfolio of web pages utilizing javascript and bootstrap.

    This in depth and immersive course will teach students the fundamentals of web development in a project-based learning environment. Students are taught the basic elements of web development, such as web hosting, file organization. This course is good for students who have dabbled a little into web development but would like to strengthen their foundation and earn a certificate to showcase their knowledge to employers.

  • UX Basic Training

    Students will learn the importance of a user-centered design process and the benefit of incorporating UX activities at every stage of a project. An overview of the many technologies and softwares that UX designers use will be presented and students will gain familiarity with these technologies.

    This course is ideal for people who are beginning to work in user experience or have some knowledge of the field. It clarifies what UX professionals do, and need to do, to create good, web or application based usable designs. After completing this course and earning a certification students are qualified to take UX/UI Design Training.

    UX/ UI Design Training

    This course offers students hands-on practice in the fundamental areas of human-centered user experience (UX) design and User Interface design. In this course students will be able to demonstrate their creative problem-solving skills by building a design portfolio across a range of UX / UI projects throughout the course. Students will utilize tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Data Analysis Fundamentals using Excel

    Students will learn Microsoft Excel through the lens of a Data Analyst. This course is the building block in our Data Analyst Pathway. Topics and skills learned include pivot tables, creating advanced formulas and data analysis using Excel. Basic understanding of Excel is highly recommended, however, each student will receive a brief brush up at the beginning of the course.

    Analysing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI

    Students will learn one of the most in demand and highly used data analysis tools by businesses. Students will learn both Data visualization and analysis in a project based environment. Students will also learn how to connect Microsoft Power BI with other softwares and tools for data analysis.

    SQL Tableau and R

    This in depth course will cover some of the most powerful data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau and R. Students will understand how each of these tools works and will use them in a capstone project. Completion of this certification will equip students with skills that will help them be confident in an entry level data analyst role.

  • Cysa +

    CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) is an IT workforce certification that applies behavioral analytics to networks and devices to prevent, detect and combat cybersecurity threats through continuous security monitoring. Students will learn security analysis and once completed earn an industry recognized certification. Students are highly encouraged to have previous IT experience or certifications such as IT Fundamentals or CompTIA+.

    CEH

    CompTIA Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is an IT workforce certification. During this course students will learn how to scan, test, hack and secure target systems. The course covers the Five Phases of Ethical Hacking, diving into Reconnaissance, Gaining Access, Enumeration, Maintaining Access, and covering your tracks. Prior Certification in CySA+ or Security+ is required.

  • The IT Fundamentals course is designed to help any student who would like to upskill but doesn't have any prior IT experience or knowledge. Students are able to graduate with an industry recognized certification that will make them competitive for applying for entry level tech and tech adjacent roles.

    During the course students learn how to set up, software installation and configuration, network connectivity, security and basic troubleshooting. Students will learn file structure, software installation, Wi-Fi connectivity and troubleshooting and overall setup, configuration and troubleshooting devices.This course will help student prepare for and pass the CompTIA IT Fundamentals FC0-U61 Certification exam.This course will give an overview of the fundamentals of computers and mobile devices.
